Hmong Heritage Month Social
Posted: April 2, 2014
Eau Claire Hmong Heritage Month began in 2012 to promote an appreciation for and education into the complexities of Hmong culture and history among members of the UWEC campus and the Eau Claire community.
The events are impactful and informative experiences that inspire conversations about current issues in the Hmong community, as well as foster critical thinking about the challenges that the Hmong community continues to face in America.
Join in the conversation Tuesday, April 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chippewa Valley Museum and explore Hmong history through our temporary exhibit Hmong in America: Journey from a Secret War. Light refreshments served. Admission to this Hmong Heritage Month Social is free.
View the temporary exhibit Hmong in America on display at the Chippewa Valley Museum throughout the month of April.
