Economic Benefits of Owning an Older Home or Building
The Eau Claire Landmarks Commission is proud to sponsor an informative evening on May 8, 2014, with Jen Davel, Preservation Architect, from the Wisconsin Historical Society who will discuss the economic benefits of owning an older home or commercial building. Her presentation will focus on the State of Wisconsin and Federal historic rehabilitation tax credit program that is administered by the Wisconsin Historical Society.
There have been several changes and enhancements to the historic rehabilitation tax credit program in recent months and Jen will explain the changes and provide some examples of the tax credit projects that have been approved in Wisconsin.
The program will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Carson Park.
The program is free - No registration is required - Refreshments will be served
